What is Geographical Indication?
Geographical Indication means any indication which identifies goods and / or a product as originating from a particular region of which its geographical environment factors including nature, labor, or combination of both factors are attributable to a given reputation, quality, and characteristics of the producted goods and / or product.

What does Indication of Source mean?
Indication of source means any indication which complies with the requirements of a geographical indication but has not been registered or solely indicates the origin of certain goods or services.

Who can apply for Geographical Indication?
Applicant for Geographical Indications is submitted by:

1. Any entity representing a society in certain geographical area producting goods and / or products which constitute:
   a. natural resources;
   b. handicraft; or
   a. industrial products.
2. Provincial or regency / municipal government.

Industrial Design is a creation of shape, configuration, or composition of lines or colors, or lines and colors, or combination of both in the shape of three dimensions or two dimensions that provides aesthetic impressions and embodied in three-dimension or two-dimensions patterns and can be used to produce a product, goods, industrial commodity, or handcraft.

Industrial Design can be registered is the design is:

1. New, if on the date of the registration application for the Industrial design is not the same as the disclosure of Indistrial designs that have been there before;
2. Not contrary to applicable laws and regulations, public order, religion or morality.

What are Trade Secrets?
Trade Secret is information that is not known by the public in the field of technology and / or business, has economic value because it is useful in business activitiesm and kept confidential by the owner of the Trade Secret.

What is protected under Trade Secret?
Production methods, processing methods, sales methods, or other information in the field of technology and / or business that has economic value and is not known by the general public are protected under the Trade Secret.
